How to recover a forgotten combination or a lost key to your Sentry Safe.

There are many reasons you may have to recover your combination or replace your key to your sentry safe. Nearly all Sentry Safe models shipped with a master combination.  This combination will open the safe regardless of how much time has passed.  It cannot be changed like a personal combination, so it stays with the safe for a lifetime. However, if you’ve forgotten or lost your personal combination, getting the master combination that will open the safe might seem difficult.  That’s because the original master combination is only in one place: the original printed manual that came with the safe. But there is a way to recover the master combination, even if you don’t have the original manual.

If you have a safe that takes a key and a combination, usually it’s one or the other. Most Sentry Safes will allow you to open the safe with a key if you have forgotten or misplaced the combination, although there are exceptions to that.  So before going through the process of recovering the combination to your Sentry Safe, you should try to open it with the key if you have one.  If you don’t have a key and need a replacement, the information to get a replacement key at the bottom of the page.

How to Recovery Lost Combination to Sentry Safe

To recover the lost combination to your Sentry safe, you simply need to fill out an online form with Sentry safe.  The online form will require your safe model number and serial number, along with your personal information. How to Replace Key to Sentry Safe

If you have lost the key to your Sentry Safe and you either need it to use with your combination or if you just need a replacement key for backup, the process is very similar to the process of getting the replacement combination.  Just go to the form below and fill out the information.  The process takes a little longer than the combination since the replacement key will be physically mailed to you, but it’s a good idea to have it anyway.  The customer service information for the key replacement in case you have to contact the manufacturer is the same.  Here is the link to the page for a Sentry Safe Key Replacement
